What follows is neither visually nor literally true, but true enough, nonetheless. All pictures and words have been manipulated. The blog URL, "An Cruiskeen Lawn," is Irish for "The Full Little Jug," the title of a popular Irish drinking song, and of a satirical column written in The Irish Times by Myles No gCopaleen (aka Flann O'Brien, aka Brian O'Nolan) from 1944 - 1966.

When Rory Speaks, Cody Listens
Here's Rory, shouting for his dinner, while Cody waits patiently. Some dogs are loudmouths (like owner, like dog) and others are well-mannered. Cody and Rory have been friends for four months now, and are beginning to show signs of pack behavior, like defying the orders of their masters. They sleep together in "Rorschach Inkblot Test" position: paws perfectly synched, even as they jerk and whimper in their dreams.
